At FCC we want to help people make good connections
both with God and also with each other.
Check out some of the following ways
you can make these connections.
Connecting With God
the Bible
The Bible is God’s own book of self-disclosure. In it he reveals who He is and His will for our lives.  Each Sunday at FCC a Bible-based message is presented that will provide a better understanding of God’s word and also encourage personal application.  A variety of Bible study classes are also provided each week on Sunday morning, Sunday evening and Wednesday night.  Our church library is filled with books to help you in your personal study of God’s word.
One of the amazing truths that we find in the Bible is that God actually loves us and wants to personally interact with us.  That is what prayer is all about–opening up our hearts and minds to God and personally speaking with him in an intimate, trusting relationship.  Both through private prayer and corporate prayer with other believers our relationship with God grows deeper and stronger.  Prayer is essential if we truly want to connect personally with God.
The more we connect with God through the Bible and through prayer, the more we will want to joyfully connect with him in worship–in celebrating the love and grace he gives to us.  Worship, too, can be expressed privately or corporately with other believers.  But whether we worship in a private setting or a public service, Jesus teaches us to worship in “spirit and in truth”–to let worship flow from our hearts and be guided by God’s word.  At FCC worship is one of our greatest ways of connecting with God and we are committed to worship both in “spirit and and truth.”
Building a meaningful relationship with God–connecting with Him–takes commitment, effort, and time.  In other words, it is a process of growing–intellectually, emotionally and spiritually.  At FCC we have a tool that can help start that growth process and help it to continue called “Ready-Set-Grow.”  This is a series of studies that will help you build a strong Biblical foundation for your relationship with God and will lead you through some of the important steps that must be taken to really connect with God. “Ready-Set-Grow” classes are offered regularly each year, and the course is also available for individual involvement.
Connecting With Others
Through All of the Above
All of the ways that we connect with God can be done individually or with others. Studying the Bible, worshiping and praying with others is a wonderful way to get relationaly connected with them.
Through Service Projects
and Ministry Teams
Working and serving together is one of the best ways of serving God and also building great friendships.  FCC has many ministry teams and ministry projects that helps people get connected with each other.
Through Fellowship
Events and Activities
Regular congregational meals, special programs,  trips to concerts and other activities provide some great opportunities to relax, visit and get to know each other better. We believe that having fun together and laughing together is another way that God helps us get better connected.
Connecting Your Kids
FCC seeks to partner with moms and dads to help kids connect with God and know His love.  One of the greatest joys of church life at FCC is to see our young children learning more about God and connecting with Him even in their young years.  Children’s classes are provided on both Sunday morning and Sunday evening.  In addition to our Wednesday evening classes, children also enjoy games and other activities in our Family Life Center.
The Student Ministry of FCC exists to connect middle-school and high-school students to God and awaken this new generation to His glory.  Our hope is to be a catalyst for change in each student’s life to help them connect and grow closer to God.  We do this through regular Bible classes, weekly worship experiences, special outings, conferences, mission trips, retreats and service projects.  Our student sponsors seek to build meaningful relationships with students that will help them build meaningful and lasting relationships with God.
FCC Preschool
FCC makes it possible to connect your preschool children to God by providing a full-service Preschool/Day Care ministry that includes a daily chapel time where the love of Jesus can be taught.  The preschool is open Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and accepts ages newborn (i.e., four weeks old) to five  years old.  Before school care and after school care is provided for children ages kindergarten through 6th grade.
